TAMARA HEY:
Tamara Hey is a professional NYC singer, songwriter and guitarist. She is also one half of the chidren's music sensation "Leeny and Tamara", whose new CD, "Leeny and Tamara- Sharing the Same Stars" is garnering stellar reviews.

Tamara has been a student and performer of music since age 6, beginning with violin and then moving on to the piano. She is a graduate of Performing Arts High School where her main focus of study was classical piano performance and she graduated with honors from Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA) where she majored in songwriting and vocal performance.

Tamara has been teaching guitar, songwriting and general music theory and ear training to students of all ages for 13 years. Her students have gone on to attend schools such as LaGuardia High School of Music and the Arts (NYC). A testament to her popularity as a teacher, Tamara's students come to her almost exclusively by word of mouth.
